Galvannealing Systems
Inductotherm has pioneered reliable heating systems for high-frequency galvannealing. High-frequency tests have shown that rapid heating, controlled holding and rapid cooling of the strip enhance the development of the required intermetallic phase and thus the build-up of the appropriate metallurgic properties.
Features
Galvannealing Systems use high-frequency, transistor-based inverters because they offer the best efficiency and promote uniform heating of the strip. In addition to using high-frequency inverters, Galvannealing Systems feature our patented doorless inductor. The combination of the high-frequency inverter and doorless inductor is assembled on one steel structure that is connected to the movable holding furnace. The doorless inductor is designed to:
- Withstand the adverse effects of zinc dust and eliminate the need for costly maintenance of the door contacts
- Allow for easy movement of inductor on/off-line
- Facilitate easy maintenance
- Reduce time and cost of installation and commissioning as our unit is preassembled and tested in our workshop
